Sport Genre Magazine

Sport magazines are considered as one of the most popular genres of magazines, with a large audience of sport enthusiast. Sport magazines often have an athlete featuring on the front page, this goes hand and hand with the colors chosen for the cover of the magazine. As many sports magazines publications will have the color of the team or what they are wearing in the photograph on the cover incorporated into the color scheme. As well as some magazines will have a color scheme on the cover that will include colors that contrast like black, red and neon accents. Which creates a feeling of urgency, and that you have to read the newest publications to find out what is happening in the sports world. 

 Sport magazines use a variety of different layouts, some prefer a layouts with lots of overlapping, action shots, while other publication will use a more minimalist layout with well spaced layout with very few distractions.  Layout with lots of overlapping give the feeling that this magazine is filled with action, Usually used for exciting news, big events, and fast sports. Used to capture the thrill of whatever is happening in that sport. Minimalist layouts feel more calm and sophisticated. Usually used for interviews and deep analysis of a player or a team.

Sports magazine are a genre that definitely that I find interesting, sports have always been a big part of my life and creating a sports magazine is number one for out of all the genres of magazines I have researched so far.
