Answered questions from my interview
1 I only play soccer.
2. My dad played a major role on why I started playing soccer, he himself was always a big soccer fan. One of the earliest memories I have is when me and him would play soccer together. His love of soccer always passed on to me.
3. What allows to continue playing the enjoyment for soccer. I enjoy playing with my teammates and friends.
4. Yes, I have role model. It’s Messi. I admire his hard work, and his amazing skill. As well as he is the greatest player of all time through his dedication to the sport.
5. I think I would definitely do this in the future, playing college sports would be a dream.
6. An average day for me looks like waking up at 6:30 AM going to school, going to soccer practice at 4:30 PM and finishing at 6:30 PM. Then doing my homework, eating dinner, and going to bed.
7.Yeah sometimes i get overwhelmed especially with school. Sometimes I feel like I have so much to do in very little time.
8. Some challenges I faced was the stress that comes from balancing both school and sports, another challenge I faced injuries. Two years ago I faced a torn ACL and I could not play soccer for 10 months. Getting back into soccer was struggle, I felt like I could no longer keep up with my teammates. I was feeling extremely demotivated and thought about quitting. What kept me to continue was the constant support from teammates and coaches. Having a support group is what help me personally to be able to continue soccer and find joy in it again.
